The goal of our game, based on the SDG: Gender Equality - with our overall story shedding light to fight against discrimination towards women and surrounding problems. Gender equality is crucial because it ensures fairness, justice, and the opportunity for everyone to be able to reach their full potential, regardless of gender. This felt like an important idea for our group, to turn a difficult topic into one that can be seen and heard for any woman or person that struggles with this. Women and men are still not equal in our governance or amendment today, proving that we will still need to fight for our equal rights. By creating a game where women are seen and heard, in our case, a toxic relationship. We hope to be able to teach men and women their power in a situation that can feel hopeless. Turning a game into something real, and educational… from young to old, gender equality needs to move forward, and we hope to do this one play at a time.
